Looking forward in 2011

Another year, another set of resolutions, and given last year, I need to better my score on these. I've decided to take a different approach. I'm going to identify different facets in my life, and then set a goal or two in each. I found that last year, most of mine seemed to revolve around a few things (recreation - i.e. gaming, reading or money) and not so much around others (spiritual life, family). So here are my facets of life: Family, Spiritual, Work, Money, Health, Social, Recreation. Within those, my 2011 resolutions are:

Family:
Six dates with Stacy
Twelve afternoons with Ethan (i.e. no TV, playing with him and his toys, his games, etc.)

Spiritual:
Follow through with Mystagogia in the spring. Ensure better form and follow through on 2011/2012 Sessions (prepared lessons, regular meeting schedule, etc.)
Either continue with at large status on Lit. Comm. or partake in A&E Chair (decide by Jan 31)
Continue work in Living Your Strengths
Pull back on GOF
Begin giving regularly (goal is to be truly tithing by end of the year)

Work:
Stop letting work "come home" with me (i.e. work frustrations staying at work)
Update LinkedIN and Resume by month's end
Actively apply to new opportunities as necessary

Money:
Do a monthly spending plan, each month, at the beginning of the month
Build an emergency fund of 1000 dollars
Either find a lower rent or buy a house with an equal or lower mortgage payment

Health:
Get under 300 lbs. (current 360)
Kick the soda habit

Social:
Have friends over for dinner once a quarter
Do something without Stacy/Ethan that is not related to work or ministries twice this year

Recreation
Read 30 books
Limit TV/gaming to 10 hours a week (which is still 10% of the week once you deduct for sleep!!!)

That's my list. Here's to a great 2011
